Happy Hour Psychotherapy Services

OWN YOUR HOUR, OWN YOUR HEALING

Hi I'm Rubeena

I’m a psychotherapist based in Singapore, and I work with individuals, couples, and families who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or going through difficult life experiences.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I believe that each person’s story is unique, and I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges at your own pace.

My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches such as

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and

  • Family and Marital Counselling.

I also draw on other techniques, including Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness practices, depending on what best supports your needs.

Educational Qualifications and Trainings:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology (Applied Counselling & Organisational Behaviour)

  • Professional qualifications in Psychotherapy and Counselling including formal training and supervision

  • Completed training in CSSRS Suicide Risk Assessment

  • Continuing education certificate in Neurodiversity Affirming Care for Autistic Clients from National Institute of Clinical Application of Behavioural Medicine (NICABM, US).

Rubeena Chopra Psychotherapist

Over the years, I’ve worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them move toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.

I support individual clients across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma/ PTSD, addictions, fears, phobias, OCD, eating disorders, anger management, grief, professional stress, intimate partner violence, communication, conflict, attachment, boundaries, family dynamics, parental issues and conflicts.

Having worked with organisations for over seven years, I support individuals in navigating workplace challenges such as difficult work environments, managing relationships with colleagues, handling office dynamics, and setting healthy boundaries at work.

I work closely with couples to help them better understand each other and build alignment in their relationships. My focus includes supporting partners in improving communication, rebuilding trust, and restoring emotional and physical intimacy. I also guide couples through life transitions and help them establish healthy boundaries that strengthen long-term connection and resilience.

I work with families to navigate difficult dynamics, including the impact of generational trauma. Together, we make sense of past experiences, improve communication, and support each member through life transitions in a way that fosters healing and stronger relationships.
